Some say it's difficult to size, well, it is but you only need to do it once. It's the same with any harness you get, it takes time to get the correct fit. The clasp is a bit tricky. I found the one that works best and leave that one lose while leaving the other connected when putting it on my bernedoodle. First, slip it over the head. Second, bring the front paw through the "leg opening". Third, bring the lose strap under the chest and connect it to the other clasp mate. Our 68 lb pup didn't flinch a bit. Have to admit, I was surprised that she didn't even seem to notice it. She has had trouble in the past with harnesses, chewed right through them. I have high hopes that this one while survive, fits much snugger and it is for the car, not an all day harness. Our day collar is a prong collar.
